If you have a touch phone screnn that requires you to shift the screen to open the lock mode, the device is the latest official violated patents owned by large corporate world that is Apple. Apple now has a patent for a touchscreen device unlocking the sliding motion.
Apple is now the only major world companies are allowed to open a touchscreen device using sliding motion, which we often see in the screen products "Slide To Unlock". Though almost all the tablets and other touch screen phones currently use some form of sliding to open its lock mode.
Here is the official statement from the United States Patent & Trademark Office that explains about companies other than Apple are restricted in terms of opening mode lock in their touchscreen devices, "An open devices in contact with the screen in accordance with the movement to open standards. Your device will display one or more commands / unlock in connection with motion picture standard that must be done in order to open the device ".
Given any Android devices use some form of sliding motion to open the device, this patent becomes very important in a legal battle between Apple and Samsung that occurred during this time. Basically every sliding motion (sliding) to open the device on the touch screen would violate Apple patents, this new patent will inevitably have a major impact on the legal battle touch-screen operation system, and will become more interesting competition between Apple and Samsung. Both large companies that control the development of phones that are competing with a thrill.
